Kathleen is hosting the Spring Reading Challenge. Want to join in?
I've not done so well with these in the past, but I'm not one to give
up. "Try, try again" - that's my motto. Here is my very modest list (I'll feel better if I accomplish a small list):
Fiction:
The Bastard of Istanbul by Elif Shafak
The Art Thief: A Novel by Noah Charney
Non-Fiction:
The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals by Michael Pollan
I'll possibly add:
John Adams by David McCullough
I'm also slowing reading through:
Orthodoxy: The Classic Account of a Remarkable Christian Experience (The Wheaton Literary Series)by GK Chesterton
Parenting Today's Adolescent Helping Your Child Avoid The Traps Of The Pre-teen And Early Teen Years by Dennis and Barbara Rainey

I read John Adams a few years ago. Excellent book. McCullough has a rich, engaging style that I enjoyed very much.
Hi, Jamie! Yes, I like McCullough, too. I read "1776" a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to "John Adams".
Did you hear it's been made into a movie for HBO (or mini-series, not sure which)?
I just finished The Art Thief last week. It was a fun read with lots of twists and turns. Enjoy!
Kerry, John Adams is one of my favorites! I didn't want it to end as it felt as though a long visit with a good friend would be concluding.
I'm interested in The Omnivore's Dilemma after reading reviews of his In Defense of Food, which I'd also like to read (sigh…some day). Please post reviews!
