Heh - I am the Tin Man

Just for fun...

One of the "famous" INFJ's is the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz. So, I guess that is why I always liked the Tin Man. If you take the test (a very shortened one based on Myers-Briggs), leave your type in the comments!

I'm a INTJ (Strategist) & my hubby is almost a complete opposite ENFP (Advocate). Lots of people at our church (including our pastor) LOVE Myers-Briggs, so we end up talking about the types A LOT! According to this test, I get Gandolf on my side, and he gets ... Ariel- Little Mermaid. Don't think he'll be as excited about that!

Oh, my that is FUNNY! Gandelf and Ariel - well, don't you make a cute couple? Hey - sounds like good Halloween costumes. Think your hubby can find an Ariel costume his size?

I'm an INTJ. Like some of the characters from the movie The Godfather. :D Most of the time I come out as an INTJ (not that I've taken these tests umpteen times or anything), but every once in a while I get INFJ as a result. I think it's a wisp of my mom's softer, gentler DNA sneaking in there. :)

I am an IFNJ too! I've always thought I was a little different and now know why - we are a rare personality type.

I took a class this past winter at hubby's seminary that looks at the personality profile and relates it to our spiritual profile. The class was to help us find the best path for our profile to aid in spiritual growth. My interest in the Christian mystics stems from our personality type since we fall into the mystical spiritual profile.

I'll try to find my info - maybe I can find a way to make some sense of it and post about it.

Very interesting that of the four responses so far - all are "IN" two being "FJ" and two being "TJ". And if I'm not mis-remembering, we are all Anglicans (or of the liturgical bent, atleast).

Amy - I'd love to see your information on the spiritual types based on Myers-Briggs. I've enjoyed (although I've gotten away from reading them) the Christian Mystics, too.

One of the things I learned in this class I mentioned above is that our personality type is drawn to the Anglican church and the liturgy.

I'm an ENTP - 3% of the population - (call me the Originator, in your best Ah-nold voice), and as such, I am a cross between (Cosmo) Kramer (Seinfeld) and Wile E. Coyote (super-genius)! There's an image. (I guess if you combined the two, you'd come up with 'Doc' Brown from Back to the Future, who is also on the list.)

I've taken this many times before, and seem to waffle between ENTP and ENTJ (Chief).

Famous ENTP's include Presidents Garfield, Hayes, Teddy Roosevelt and John Adams, Alexander the Great, Alfred Hitchcock, George Carlin, John Candy, Rodney Dangerfield, Walt Disney, Matthew Perry and Julia Child.
