I loved the misused phrases. We own a small business and have to get signatures from our customers' delivery drivers on their invoices. I cannot tell you how many times I've had someone say "So, you need my John Henry on this?" And, it is all I can do to keep from saying, "No, John Henry was a steel-driving man. I need your John Hancock."

But that would be rude, so, I just smile and say "Sign there, please." :)
