In one week, many of us will be celebrating Shrove Tuesday (or Fat Tuesday, if you prefer) - a day of frivolity and merriment. The next day is, of course, Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. Are you ready?
Are you thinking about how you might observe Lent this year? Do you learn from in reading other's ideas, thoughts, and plans? Would you like to have a family Lenten experience? Maybe you are a long time Lent observer...maybe this is your first time...maybe you just need some different ideas to make Lent more focused and faithfilled.
Wherever you are on the "Lent" journey, I hope you'll join me here, next Ash Wednesday, for a Lenten carnival: "An Anglican Family Lent".
Interested in submiting a post (or posts)? You needn't be an Anglican, just a "kindred spirit"!

I would love to be a part of your celebration. I had planned a fun day for today, but with mom's heart attack last week, I've hardly been home long enough to wash laundry! Today I'll take her to her apartment and stay with her until she is able to take care of herself. Soooo...Shrove Tuesday will be a bit sparse. LOL!
I'll participate as an onlooker :-)
Thanks for your blogging!

Jean (and anyone else interested) - if you get a submission ready and want to contribute, you are welcome to leave a link in the comments when the Carnival opens tomorrow. (FYI - I'll be publishing late tonight - Tuesday.)
